"The Shot"
Chris Sierzant free-soloing "Fuzzy Undercling" (5.11b)
at Military Wall | Red River Gorge, KY.
Chris is aprx. 70-80ft (in this shot) off the ground forgoing
any ropes or safety equipment as he climbs using only brute
strength, skill, chalk and shoes as his dog "Lucifer" waits for him
at the base. A climber who free-solo's without gear has to either
top out or down climb the route. Once Chris got to the top,
he then down climbed the route.
