A great surprise performance happened at the Nachbar last night by singer/songwriter: Jim White. Apparently Jim was going to be coming though the Louisville area after performing a show in Nashville, called a friend and said something to the nature of, "I want to play a small show at a bar in Lousiville." Jim called James (owner of the Nachbar) and history happened. If you missed it, Jim said he will be back somewhere around May 24th or 25th to play WFPK's waterfront wednesday.
The best part to Jim's shows are his enticing stories which go on far longer than the songs. I'm a curious person and always wonder how songs come about and the experiences that created those stories.
Jim is a master storyteller.
